Paleo Salted Caramel Dip

raw nut butter (almond or cashew recommended)

sea salt (or more to taste)

vanilla extract or seeds of 1 vanilla bean, scraped

Instructions
- Soak the dates in enough water to cover for at least 4 hours.
- Drain the dates, reserving the soaking water.
- Add the dates to a blender along with all other ingredients except the soaking water.
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Add soaking water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
