Ingredients

The pineapple

  • 1 whole pineapple

The glaze

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons dairy free butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons brown or coconut sugar

Optional add-ins

  • to taste cinnamon
  • to taste rum
  • to taste shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Cut the top and bottom off the pineapple and slice it in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove the core and cut the pineapple into ½ - ¾ inch thick pieces.
  3. Drizzle lime juice over the pineapple slices.
  4. Brush on dairy free butter and sprinkle brown or coconut sugar if using.
  5. Grill the pineapple slices on each side for about 2-4 minutes until grill marks appear.
  6. Serve with optional toppings like shredded coconut or ice cream.
