Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ head purple cabbage
  • 2 pieces green bell peppers
  • 2 pieces carrots
  • 1 piece yellow onion
  • 2-3 oz bricks ramen noodles
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 pieces green onions, sliced
  • handful cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vegetables by cutting the cabbage, onion, and bell peppers into thin strips and shredding the carrots.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, sriracha, and cornstarch to make the sauce.
  3. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, then drain them.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Add the prepared vegetables to the skillet and sauté until they begin to soften.
  6. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and sauté until the sauce thickens.
  7. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together.
  8. Garnish with sliced green onions and cilantro before serving.
