Ingredients

The cake

  • cups almond flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup allulose granulated
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 8 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

The frosting

  • 2 cups keto frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and grease two 9-inch cake pans with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the eggs and softened butter until smooth, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and allulose, mixing until just combined.
  4. Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans and smooth the tops.
  5. Bake for 27-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a skewer.
  6. Allow the cakes to cool completely in the pans before frosting.
