Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the coconut, chia seeds, cacao powder, almond meal, sea salt, spices, and water until combined.
- Add the maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract, stirring until fully combined and no dry ingredients remain.
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to allow the chia seeds to bind the mixture.
- Drop heaped tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for about 2 hours or until the macaroons are firm and dry on the outside.
