Instructions
- Beat the egg, egg white, and sugar until thick.
- Stir in the melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
- Sift together the flour and baking powder, then blend into the batter until smooth.
- Heat the pizzelle iron and lightly spray it with cooking spray.
- Drop about one level tablespoon of batter onto each circle on the iron.
- Bake for about 45 to 50 seconds, or until steam is no longer coming out of the iron.
- Carefully remove the cookies from the iron and transfer them to a cooling rack.
- Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
- Top with powdered sugar before serving.
