Maple Bourbon Glazed Salmon

The glaze

bourbon

maple syrup

chili powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425ºF (218ºC).
- Rinse salmon under cold water and pat dry.
- Grease a baking dish with butter or ghee.
- Place salmon fillets in the dish and brush with remaining butter or ghee.
- Sprinkle with black pepper and ½ tsp sea salt.
- Prepare the glaze by combining bourbon, maple syrup, chili powder, ½ tsp sea salt, and cayenne pepper in a small saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 11 minutes until thickened, stirring and scraping the bottom of the pan occasionally.
- While the glaze is reducing, bake the salmon for about 6-8 minutes until opaque and flaky.
- Remove salmon from the oven, spoon glaze over the fillets, and top with green onion and parsley.
- Serve immediately.
