Instructions
- Prepare the dough by whisking warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl and let it sit until foamy.
- Add salt, butter, and flour, then mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough until it is soft and slightly tacky.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl until nearly double in size.
- Flatten the dough into a rectangle and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Prepare butter for lamination and line it down the center of the dough.
- Fold the dough over the butter and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Repeat the lamination process two more times with chilling in between.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut it into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased loaf pan and let them rise until puffy.
- Preheat the oven and brush the rolls with egg wash.
- Bake until golden brown and cool before slicing.
