Instructions
- Preheat the waffle maker and grease it lightly.
- Beat the egg white in a medium bowl until stiff peaks form and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine almond flour, Besti, baking powder, and salt.
- Melt the butter and almond butter together, then whisk and add to the dry ingredients.
- Stir in the egg yolk, almond milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter without breaking them down too much.
- Transfer half the batter into the waffle iron and cook until steam stops, about 5 minutes.
- Let the waffle cool slightly in the iron before removing. Optionally, toast for extra crispiness.
