Easy Brazilian Limeade

Ingredients

The drink

  • 4 whole limes
  • 5 cups cold water
  • 1 cup monk fruit sweetener or sweetener of choice
  • ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk or vegan condensed milk

Garnishes

  • to taste mint leaves
  • to taste lime slices

Instructions

  1. Wash the limes thoroughly and slice them into quarters.
  2. Add half of the limes, ½ cup of sweetener, and 2 ½ cups of water to a blender and pulse five times.
  3. Strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, discarding the pulp.
  4. Repeat the blending and straining process with the remaining limes, water, and sweetener.
  5. Pour the strained lime mixture back into the blender and add the sweetened condensed milk. Blend to combine.
  6. Add ice to the mixture and stir again.
  7. Garnish with mint leaves and lime slices before serving.
