Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Roll the chilled dough into balls and slightly flatten them, adding extra chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
