Instructions
- Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl until smooth, then mix in vanilla and pumpkin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Cover the dough and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Scoop dough into balls and flatten slightly before placing on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 11-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Cool on baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
