Beef Kebab with Grilled Tomato and Green Pepper Salad

Ingredients

Beef Kebab

  • 500 g grilling steak (fillet or sirloin)
  • 3 tablespoons very finely chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons very finely chopped coriander
  • 2 pieces red onions (very finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)

Grilled Tomato and Green Pepper Salad

  • 400 g ripe tomatoes (3 medium sized)
  • 450 g sweet green peppers (bell, padron or piquillo)
  • 1 piece green chilli (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or more to taste)

Instructions

  1. Mix the beef with chopped onions, parsley, coriander, and salt in a bowl and marinate for 2 to 8 hours.
  2. Thread the marinated beef onto skewers and grill to your liking.
  3. For the salad, preheat the grill and roast the green peppers, tomatoes, and optional chilli until charred and tender.
  4. Allow the grilled vegetables to cool, then peel and chop them.
  5. Combine the chopped vegetables with olive oil and salt in a bowl and serve with bread.
