Ingredients

The pork chops

  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

The mushroom sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 ½ tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook pork chops for 6-8 minutes per side until they reach 145°F, then remove and keep warm.
  3. Melt butter in the same pan, add mushrooms, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until tender and browned.
  4. Add minced garlic to the mushrooms and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute while stirring constantly.
  6. Slowly whisk in beef broth and bring to a simmer, cooking until thickened.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and return pork chops to the pan, spooning the sauce over them.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
