Ingredients

The fish and seasoning

  • 1 pound tilapia fish filets
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper or chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 can nonstick cooking spray

The tacos

  • 12 pieces corn tortillas
  • 2 pieces ripe avocadoes, sliced
  • 1 cup prepared salsa
  • ½ head red cabbage, sliced thinly
  • ½ bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Dry the fish with paper towels and discard the towels.
  3. Mix cayenne pepper, ground cumin, garlic powder, and sea salt in a small bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix on both sides of the fish.
  5. Place the fish in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  6. Cook at 400°F for 6 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  7. Remove the fish and assemble the tacos with fish, avocado, salsa, cabbage, and cilantro.
