Grilled Mahi-Mahi with Crab

Ingredients

The fish and crab

  • 12 oz Mahi-Mahi fillets
  • 6 oz fresh crab meat

The seasoning and vegetables

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste sea salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 8 grape tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mahi-mahi fillets by rubbing them with olive oil and seasoning with sea salt and black pepper.
  2. Allow the fillets to warm slightly before grilling.
  3. Place the fillets on a hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes without moving them to get good grill marks.
  4. Gently turn the fillets and cook for another 4-5 minutes until firm to the touch.
  5. While the mahi-mahi is cooking, heat olive oil in a sauté pan and add the diced garlic and halved grape tomatoes.
  6. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  7. Add the crab meat to the pan and gently toss it with the mixture, then remove from heat.
  8. Once the mahi-mahi is done, top it with the sautéed crab meat and serve immediately.
