Ingredients

The cookie dough

  • cups gluten free flour
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 unit pasture raised egg (or 1 flax egg)
  • ¾ cup melted butter (or nut butter)
  • pinch sea salt

The mix-ins

  • 8 units Oreo cookies (or similar)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, maple syrup, baking soda, melted butter, sea salt, and egg.
  3. Mix until combined, using a hand mixer or a spoon until the dough is thick.
  4. Crumble the Oreo cookies and fold them into the dough.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to form 12-14 cookies on the baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until slightly undercooked; they will firm up as they cool.
