Instructions
- Heat the oil in a skillet or slow cooker with a sauté function.
- Add the onion and celery, cooking for 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the meat and vegetables to the slow cooker if using a skillet.
- Stir in the ketchup, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, mustard, sugar, chili powder, and salt.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed before serving with buns.
