Ingredients

The peaches

  • 4 large peaches

The bacon and basil

  • 12 ounces bacon
  • 60 large basil leaves

The glaze

  • to taste extra-virgin olive oil
  • to taste balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the grill to low heat and brush the grates with oil.
  2. 2. Wash and dry the peaches, cut each in half, then into quarters.
  3. 3. Place a basil leaf on each peach quarter and wrap with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  4. 4. Brush the wrapped peaches with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  5. 5. Grill the peaches for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally until the bacon is cooked.
