Toasted Almond and Chocolate Protein Bars

Instructions
- Grease a loaf pan with coconut oil and line it with parchment paper.
- Mix almond butter, coconut butter, date paste, and salt in a stand mixer until well combined.
- Add hot water gradually until the mixture becomes sticky and smooth.
- Incorporate whey protein and cacao powder on low speed until crumbly.
- Add more hot water until the mixture is thick and sticky.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Once chilled, cut into 8 bars and place them on parchment paper.
- Sprinkle toasted almonds on top and press them down.
- Melt cacao paste, coconut oil, and honey in the microwave and mix until smooth.
- Spoon melted chocolate over the bars and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
- Return to the fridge until fully set, about an hour.
- Wrap bars individually and store in the refrigerator or freeze.
