Chocolate Almond No Bake Protein Bars

granola, thinly sliced berries/cherries/mango/peach, dried fruit or crushed nuts (optional)

coconut oil or butter

Instructions
- Line an 8×8 square pan with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, blend the almond meal and coconut flakes until flour-like, then transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Mix in the protein powder, salt, and cocoa powder with the almond mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together maple syrup, hot water, and vanilla, then combine with the dry ingredients.
- Press the mixture into the prepared pan and add optional toppings on top.
- Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the bars and spread evenly, then sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set, then cut into 9 to 12 squares.
