Instructions
- 1. Boil salted water in a medium pot and cook the pasta until 1 minute under al dente.
- 2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt.
- 3. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water.
- 4. Add heavy cream and ½ cup of pasta water to the skillet, simmer for about 3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- 5. Add the cooked pasta and grated cheese to the skillet, mixing vigorously for 1 minute for an even coating.
- 6. Serve garnished with minced parsley or black pepper.
