Simple Lemon Garlic Pasta

Ingredients

The pasta

  • 12 ounces Fettuccini

The sauce

  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced or mashed
  • 1 small Shallot, finely minced
  • ¼ cup Dry White Wine
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon Juice + Zest of One Lemon
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil water in a pot and add salt generously.
  2. 2. Cook the fettuccini until al dente.
  3. 3. While the pasta cooks, heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter and olive oil.
  4. 4. Reduce heat to low and add garlic and shallots, cooking for about 30 seconds.
  5. 5. Add wine, salt, and pepper; cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. 6. Once pasta is done, drain it and add to the skillet with the sauce.
  7. 7. Add lemon juice, zest, and parmesan; toss to coat.
  8. 8. Serve and enjoy!
