Ingredients

The pasta

  • 4 ounces Banza pasta of choice

The filling

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup frozen chopped peppers and onions
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Italian (or pizza) seasoning
  • 1 large egg

The topping

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package directions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks.
  4. Once the beef is fully cooked, add the frozen peppers and onions along with the Italian seasoning.
  5. Transfer the meat mixture to a large bowl, then add the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, and egg. Mix well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve immediately.
