Instructions
- Sort and rinse the pinto beans, discarding any stones or debris.
- Transfer the rinsed beans to the Instant Pot.
- Add water, salt, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and pepper to the pot.
- Secure the lid and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
- Allow the pressure to release naturally for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Once the float valve drops, remove the lid and drain the beans.
- Serve the beans with lime juice and cilantro, or use in other recipes.
