Ingredients

The base

  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 2 pieces egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 16 ounces heavy cream

The chocolate mixture

  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup Kahlua or Crème de Cocoa or Amaretto or orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice

Instructions

  1. Blend the eggs, egg yolks, vanilla, and sugar until pale yellow.
  2. Melt the chocolate with the chosen liqueur and orange juice in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Divide the mixture into small glasses or ramekins and cover.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or freeze for later use.
