Instructions
- Combine the first five ingredients in a small pot and heat over medium-high.
- Once it simmers, reduce heat to medium and whisk until thickened.
- Remove from heat and gradually whisk in the beaten egg.
- Return to medium heat and whisk quickly until thickened again.
- Remove from heat and whisk for an additional 30 seconds.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients, taste, and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Garnish with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
