Chicken Marsala

The sauce

Instructions
- 1. Mix the flour, salt, and black pepper in a shallow plate and coat the chicken thighs evenly with this mixture.
- 2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with butter and olive oil, and pan-fry the chicken for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- 3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté the sliced mushrooms and garlic until fragrant.
- 4. Add the Marsala wine, chicken broth, and heavy cream to the skillet, seasoning with salt to taste. Reduce heat and simmer the sauce for 5 to 8 minutes.
- 5. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet and continue simmering for another 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- 6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
