Chicken Marsala

The sauce

baby bella mushrooms (stems removed and sliced in half)

marsala wine

heavy cream

Instructions
- Mix Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and coat the chicken evenly.
- Pound the chicken to ½ inch thickness and dredge in flour.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the chicken and mushrooms until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken and mushrooms, then boil the Marsala wine in the skillet until reduced by half.
- Return the chicken and mushrooms to the skillet, add heavy cream, cover, and simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
- Add the remaining butter and cook for a minute to thicken the sauce before serving.
