Ingredients

The base

  • 2 tortillas Food for Life Ezekiel tortillas

The filling

  • 1.5-2 cups cooked black beans
  • cup 5-ingredient cheeze sauce
  • 3 tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • ½ cup red onion, chopped
  • ½ cup bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup avocado, chopped
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • to taste ground cumin spice
  • to taste pizza sauce
  • sprinkle Daiya cheese or other non-dairy cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment or a non-stick baking mat.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the drained and rinsed black beans, cheeze sauce, parsley, onion, pepper, and seasonings.
  3. Place the tortillas on the baking sheet and spread the desired amount of pizza sauce on top.
  4. Divide the bean mixture between the tortillas and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Broil on low for 2 minutes until golden, watching closely to prevent burning.
