Ingredients

The meat mixture

  • 8 oz lean ground beef
  • 8 oz lean ground turkey breast

The binders and flavorings

  • ½ cup plain panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 medium scallions, green parts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang hot pepper paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the meatball ingredients and mix until well combined.
  3. On a clean surface, divide the meat mixture into 16 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  4. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes until cooked through.
