Ingredients

The smoothie

  • cups unsweetened plant milk
  • 2 pieces frozen bananas
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • teaspoon allspice

Toppings (optional)

  • to taste vanilla wafer cookies, crushed
  • to taste coconut whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Combine the plant milk, frozen banana, chia seeds, blackstrap molasses, cinnamon, ginger, and allspice in a blender.
  2. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  3. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
  4. Top with crushed wafer cookies and/or whipped cream if desired.
