Raw Almond Butter Cups

The topping

pure maple syrup (or 2 tbsp agave nectar)

Instructions
- Blend almonds and oats in a high-speed blender until a flour forms, then transfer to a bowl and break up clumps.
- Add nut butter, coconut oil, maple syrup (or agave), cinnamon, vanilla, and salt to the bowl and mix until combined; the dough should be sticky.
- Line a mini or regular muffin tin with liners and portion the dough into each cup, pressing down to smooth.
- For the chocolate topping, whisk together coconut oil, sweetener, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
- Spoon the chocolate sauce over each cup and garnish with sliced almonds if desired.
- Freeze for 30-45 minutes until firm, then pop out the cups and enjoy immediately.
