Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and brush both sides of each bread slice with olive oil, sprinkling with salt before toasting.
- Toast the bread on a baking sheet for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway until golden.
- In a saucepan, combine water, honey, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice, bringing to a gentle boil.
- Add the cranberries to the saucepan and cook until they pop and the sauce thickens, then stir in two-thirds of the orange zest.
- Spread goat cheese on each toast, top with cranberry sauce, and sprinkle with remaining orange zest before serving.
