Ingredients

The broccoli

  • 1 large head broccoli

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste none salt
  • to taste none pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Cut the broccoli into 1-2 inch pieces and the stem into 2 inch lengths about ½ inch thick.
  3. Place the cut broccoli in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil, adding salt and pepper.
  4. Toss the broccoli to coat it evenly with the oil and seasonings.
  5. Lay the broccoli in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with a squeeze of lemon juice.
