Buttery Pull Apart Bundt Bread

Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 cup warm water
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ¼ to 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

The butter

  • ½ cup salted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, yeast, egg, oil, salt, and 2 cups of flour in a mixer bowl.
  2. Mix until combined and then gradually add more flour until the dough forms a ball.
  3. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Pour half of the melted butter into the bottom of a bundt pan.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle and cut it into 24 squares.
  6. Dip each square in the melted butter and layer them in the bundt pan.
  7. Cover the pan and let the dough rise until puffy, about 45-60 minutes.
  8. Pour the remaining melted butter over the top of the dough.
  9. Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let the bread rest for a few minutes before turning it out onto a plate.
