Instant Pot Quinoa

Ingredients

The quinoa

  • 1 cup quinoa

The liquid

  • 1.25 cups water
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the quinoa in a sieve under cold water.
  2. Add the quinoa and water to the Instant Pot and stir together.
  3. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  4. Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release for 3 minutes, then quick release the rest of the pressure.
  5. Fluff the quinoa with a fork and transfer to a plate to cool, or cover to soak up any excess water.
