The pasta and greens

penne pasta, cooked according to package instructions

Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt and Italian seasoning.
- Mix flour, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder on a plate and coat the chicken in this mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté garlic and thyme for 1-2 minutes.
- Lower the heat and whisk in the heavy cream and cream cheese until blended.
- Add chicken broth and parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce thickens.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the drained pasta and spinach to the skillet, mixing to combine.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan to soak up some sauce.
- Serve warm with sliced chicken on top.
