Asian-style BBQ Beef Back Ribs

Ingredients

The ribs

  • 1 rack beef back ribs
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Sunshine State of Mind BBQ rub

The wrap

  • 3 tbsp salted butter
  • ½ tbsp Sunshine State of Mind BBQ rub
  • 4 tbsp organic brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to 300°F over indirect heat.
  2. Pat the ribs dry and apply Dijon mustard followed by BBQ rub.
  3. Cook the ribs on the grill for 2 hours.
  4. Prepare a wrap with butter, BBQ rub, and brown sugar on foil, then place the ribs non-membrane side down.
  5. Return the wrapped ribs to the grill for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from the grill, let cool slightly, and slice the ribs.
  7. Garnish with additional pepper flakes, sesame seeds, or green onions if desired.
