How to Cook Chickpeas and Beans from Scratch

Instructions
- Soak the dried chickpeas or beans in a large bowl of water with salt for at least 8 to 10 hours.

- Reduce the heat and simmer for about 45 minutes, adding water as needed to keep the beans submerged.
- Once cooked, let the beans cool in their cooking liquid and store them as desired.
