Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Shrimp and Asparagus

The Asparagus
-

thin to medium asparagus, ends trimmed

olive oil

cloves
garlic, minced

lemon zest

salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, and seasonings, then toss with the shrimp and let marinate.
- On a sheet pan, arrange the asparagus on one side, drizzle with olive oil, add garlic and lemon zest, toss to coat, and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake the asparagus for about 5 minutes.
- Add the marinated shrimp to the other side of the pan in a single layer and return to the oven for 8 to 10 minutes until shrimp are opaque and pink.
- Remove from the oven, add more lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
