Lemon Garlic Shrimp

The shrimp

extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
The sauce

butter, melted

fresh lemon juice

minced fresh parsley

sugar

olive oil, divided

garlic, minced

to taste
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Mix melted butter, lemon juice, and parsley in a bowl and set aside.
- Pat shrimp dry and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and sugar.
- Heat 2 tsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add half the garlic and half the shrimp to the skillet and cook until shrimp is opaque, about 3 minutes.
- Transfer cooked shrimp to a foil packet to keep warm.
- Repeat the cooking process with the remaining shrimp.
- Return the shrimp in foil to the pan with the other shrimp.
- Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat.
- Serve warm.
