Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

The sauce

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Italian parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil, shrimp, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until they are colored on both sides.
  3. Add garlic to the pan and cook for another minute, stirring as needed.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add garlic powder, onion powder, sweet paprika, lemon juice, and butter.
  5. Toss to coat the shrimp and cook for another minute or two until fully cooked.
  6. Add half the parsley and toss to mix.
  7. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water to adjust the consistency.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with remaining parsley.
