Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

The seasoning and flavorings

  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon fresh oregano
  • ½ lemon juice of
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp with salt and Creole seasoning.
  2. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and sauté for 3-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Add the minced garlic and stir until fragrant.
  5. Incorporate paprika, thyme, oregano, lemon juice, and chicken stock.
  6. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add chopped parsley and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve over pasta, rice, or vegetables.
