Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 lb. raw extra-large shrimp, tail on and deveined

The sauce

  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 7 cloves garlic, smashed and minced
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Remove excess moisture from the shrimp by patting them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  3. Once the butter is melted, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp to the pan in a single layer, sprinkle with salt, and sauté for 2-4 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
  5. Remove shrimp from the pan and squeeze fresh lemon juice over them before serving.
