Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined, tail on

The sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Italian parsley

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water, drain, and pat dry.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the unsalted butter, melting it until it foams and turns brown.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 10 seconds before adding the shrimp.
  4. Stir and toss the shrimp until cooked on both sides.
  5. Add salt, cayenne pepper, white wine, and lemon juice, cooking to reduce the sauce slightly.
  6. Add chopped parsley and turn off the heat. Serve immediately.
