Homemade BBQ Sauce

Instructions
- Sauté the onion in olive oil on medium heat for about 7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients except for the mustard and cook uncovered over low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add mustard and adjust sweetness or sourness to taste, cooking for a few more minutes.
- Optionally, puree the sauce in a blender if desired.
