Ingredients

The pizza

  • 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded reduced fat 2% Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 17 pieces turkey pepperoni

The skewers

  • 20 bamboo skewers or popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough into a large rectangle and spread the pizza sauce evenly over it.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the sauce, followed by the Italian seasoning and pepperoni.
  4. Roll the dough tightly from the long side and pinch the seam to seal it.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into 20 even pieces using kitchen shears.
  6. Place the pieces on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before inserting a skewer into each piece.
