Pepperoni Bites

Ingredients

The dough

  • 10 oz refrigerated pizza crust dough

The filling

  • 1 cup shredded reduced fat mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz sliced turkey pepperoni
  • 1 tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • to taste Italian Seasonings

The oil

  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Lightly coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  3. Unroll the pizza crust dough and cut it into 24 even pieces.
  4. Flatten each piece and place about 2 teaspoons of cheese in the center.
  5. Add a slice or two of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  6. Fold the edges of the dough around the filling and press to seal.
  7. Place the sealed balls seam side down in the pie plate.
  8. Brush olive oil over the tops of the bites.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning on top.
  10. Bake for 16-20 minutes until browned.
