Instructions
- Prepare the pizza dough by mixing yeast, sugar, and warm water, then let it rest.
- Add olive oil, salt, and vinegar to the yeast mixture and combine with flour, kneading until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Combine all pizza sauce ingredients in a bowl and let rest for flavor melding.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F and prepare a pizza stone.
- Punch down the dough, divide it, and roll out one portion on a floured surface.
- Brush the dough with a mixture of olive oil and garlic, then spread the pizza sauce.
- Top with mozzarella, parmesan, and pepperoni slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden.
- Sprinkle with oregano and optional red pepper flakes before serving.
